Below are the step by step processes for admission and enrollment:
Step 1: Schedule a Parent Information Session/School Tour Schedule a parent information session/school tour through our website or call the school (512-218-4644) for someone to assist you.
Prior to admission, we require either one or both parents to attend a parent information session/school tour (that lasts for an hour), given by our Head of School. Children should not attend the session, in order for all parents to fully concentrate and be able to participate. During this visit, parents will have the chance to see the entire school, ask questions, and be informed of the school's programs and other information needed to continue with the admission process.
Step 2: Classroom Observation and Prospective Parent Interview The school Administrator, upon receipt of your child's application for admission form, will schedule you to come for a classroom observation, that lasts for 15-minutes. You will sit inside a classroom to do a 'silent observation', not observe from a window or door.
On the same visit as the classroom observation, you will attend a Prospective Parent Interview with a School Administrator.
Step 3: Selection and Enrollment Notification We accept children on the basis of providing balance to the class based on gender, age and/or contributions. We never discriminate with regards to religion, cultural background, political beliefs, marital status, disability, national origin or sexual orientation.
If the parent's request to enroll at UBM is accepted, the enrollment process continues with the parents attending an orientation to discuss school policies and procedures. The school will also setup a "Meet the Teacher" prior to the child's start date, so he/she can become acquainted with the new teacher and environment. If you have any questions about our admission and/or enrollment process including tuition and other fees, please do not hesitate to call us at (512) 218-4644.
